Story Behind The Song
I had a dear friend from South Africa who was brought up in a Xosa speaking village after his parents were killed at a mission station. Being white he was adopted into the Xosa village and raised as a native African boy. He taught me this proverb and I wrote the song in Egypt where I was living. I wrote it for him and for all Xosa speakers and lovers separated by continents.

Lyrics
Land Of Dreams
A Xosa Proverb)
I come to you, vs.1
On the light of the Morning Star.
I will be with you,
When the sun goes down,
Where ever you are.
I will never, no never,
Be far away from you.
And when you sleep.
You will think,
Of me all night through.
We'll be together, chorus
Forever,
In the land of dreams.
We'll be together,
Forever,
In the land of dreams.
rpt. vs.1
bridge
Sunset through to sunrise,
We will dream of farest paradise
Come and fly away,
There with me. rpt. chorus
